In the golden summer of 2002, Blaizopoulos, Mopoulos and Sorakis create the Greeks. They all had background, everybody has one. Mopoulos wasn't meant to remain a Greek, but he hit History by playing straight guitar on the first two songs the band penned. Blaizopoulos had reached glory with his former group, the undisputed Orgy, but since the end of 2001, he wasn't doing music anymore. Heaven sake, the rough Sorakis pushed him to record a few songs in Mo's house. With a piano and two guitars, the three of them would prove to play hot and sticky. Those two rare yet powerful songs were "Drunken Slut" and "Hot Forty Women". A year later, Blaizopoulos and Sorakis, who were hunger for greatness, reassembled to write "Don't Let The Girl Go By" and the result was so goddamned brilliant them two genius decided to put it on tape and call the multimillionaire Producer, Lamont Jeangopoulos. In the summer of 2004, always on summer you see, intense through-the-night recording sessions took place at Jeangopoulos studio. Six stunning numbers came from these sessions : "Don't Let The Girl Go By", "Face Me", "Bad Girl", "Night Of The Greeks", "Washed My Woman" and "The Dice Of Love". One month passed, and The Greeks were back on the track with four more killers : "Hole In The Sky", "Brutal Side Of Man", "Uncle McWellback" and "I'm Gonna Marry The One That I Love". A lot of bands would consider there was enough material to release a record, but The Greeks wouldn't. They wanted to play stronger and added an anonymous member, Prozakis, gifted for tambourines and backing vocals, not so talented for writing tunes. And in january 2005, they went to Jeangopoulos Country Home, where they recorded two more masterpieces : "Just To Be A Greek" and "Science Of Love". They're still working on new titles at the present time. To be continued.
